My second CD (and fourth recording) was a simpler affair than LET LOVE OUT due to (my indie) budget. Nonetheless, I'm still proud of the musicianship I was afforded by my collaborators, notably Dan Martin as producer, arranger, musician, and cheerleader, and the many wonderful musicians who graced this collection.

ABOUT BODIES OF WATER Near drowning off Secret Beach on Kauai in 1989, I was carried safely to shore by a huge wave I had dreamed of recurrently since childhood.
The song “Bodies Of Water” was written with many of my creative colleagues in mind, especially those in the independent LGBT music movement I’ve been fortunate enough to be nourished by, thanks to bridge-building organizations like the original Outmusic and Web sites like QueerMusicHeritage.com.
I’m thankful to many people who have carried my songs safely to shore. Big love to more-than-a-producer extraordinaire Dan Martin, whose skills and being nurtured me and these songs above and beyond the call of duty. Heartfelt gratitude for their special care & generosity with this project to: all the musicians for their contributions to the arrangements, Dan Martin & Michael Biello, Zonna, Tom McGrath, Giovanni Fusco, Jon Gordon, Zenobia, Emma Zilberman and Steve Katz. Love & thanks for creative feedback and guidance to:Dave Brown, Robin Burdulis, Melinda Di Maio, Amy Fix, Kevin Haining, Jesse Hultberg, Nedra Johnson, Kenneth King, Barbara Lutz, Tom McCormack and Laura Wetzler.
